Instead of brewing at home and pouring it over, you brew straight in the cup: 20 g of freshly ground coffee into the chamber, 200 ml of water at 92 °C on top, plunger down. That way you can make coffee wherever you are — on the train, at the office, up a mountain — with no power, no capsules and no second vessel.
